YOU WERE CREATED ON PURPOSE
Your Interests
by V.I.P. Video Producers on 12/18/10
What interests you? It could be several things. But how do you know you're on target for your purpose? Simply....doors will begin to open or close for you.
Even when doors begin to open, things will not fall into place automatically. It takes time and patience. It's frustrating for me because like a lot of others, I want everything at once. But the beautiful thing about God is that He puts your life into a big puzzle, and only gives you just 1 piece at a time. Your story is read with patience...my story is read with patience. God won't show you every piece at once...if He did we'd mess it up.
I know I can trust in God to lead me to the next puzzle piece or send one my way.
If you're a business man or woman, watch out for "GET RICH QUICK SCHEMES" or don't let people talk you into things just because it sounds good. Although it sounds good, it may not be what God wants for you. How will you know? If you're a Christian,
Luke 11:9 says...
"And so I tell you, keep on asking, and you will receive what you ask for. Keep on seeking, and you will find. Keep on knocking, and the door will be opened to you.
Your Experiences

Face it...we all make mistakes. But what do you learn from them?
Think of your last major mess up. If you could do it all over again I'm sure there is one thing you would do differently. Mistakes teach us how to teach and encourage others from our experiences. Yes they hurt but for that moment, something so ugly or uncomfortable can actually turn into a blessing for someone else.
God can use those moments to encourage someone else. From my mistakes I've recently learned that:
- I don't have to fear the decisions I make.
- I don't need others to validate who I am.
- and It's okay to make mistakes.
Whatever experiences we go through, someone else will benefit from them for HIS glory.
Your Abilities

What can you do that your very good at?
What can you do that is easy for you but not so easy for others?
What can you do that just comes effortlessly?
If money was not a hinderance, what would you do?
We all have talents (something that we're good at) but there are spiritual gifts that are set apart of God's purposes. It could be tied into your job or your everyday life. Take a look at your abilities. Write them down and think of how they can be used to minister to others. If it can only be used for you, then it is not a gift to others.

You were created on purpose...
by V.I.P. Video Producers on 03/30/10
Did you know you were created on purpose, for a purpose?
According to the scriptures:
Proverbs 16:4
God made everything with a place and purpose; even the wicked are included - but for judgment.
Exodus 9:16...I have raised you up for this very purpose, that I might show you my power and that my name might be proclaimed in all the earth.
Psalms 138:8
The LORD will fulfill his purpose for me;
----------------------------------------------------------------------------------
You have a call on your life. You have something in you that is waiting to be of benefit to the world! How do you discover your purpose?
The first step is to knowing God...and His Son Jesus Christ and accepting Him as your Lord and Savior. He is the One who has assigned you your purpose. But if you don't know God, start here. If do know the Lord, but don't know your purpose, begin by asking Him each day to bring you closer to it and reveal His will to you.
Ephesians 4:1-3
Walk worthy of the calling with which you were called, with all lowliness and gentleness, with longsuffering, bearing with one another in love, endearvoring to keep the unity of the Spirit in the bond of peace.
